Day 8 of 31 Days of Pet Trivia: What is the name for a group of kittens?

A group of kittens is often referred to as a “litter.”

When a cat gives birth to multiple kittens at once, those kittens are collectively called a litter.

The size of a litter can vary, but it is common for cats to give birth to anywhere from one to eight kittens in a single litter.

The mother cat, also known as the queen, takes care of her kittens and provides them with the necessary nourishment and protection during their early stages of life.
